This is a varied role which encompasses the entire credit function. It is a full time position joining the existing team of 5 and reporting to the Credit Manager. The role is ideal for someone looking to progress their career in credit management.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Driving Collection
- Actively pursue outstanding monies owed across a ledger of varied customer accounts
- Increase Cash Collections
- Resolving issues delaying payments
- Apply credit policies and procedures to ensure timely collection of all debts when due
- Post daily bank, cheque and cash payments to the system
- Obtain trade references for new customer applications
- Set-up of new customers
- Raising credit notes
- Management of the filing process and archiving system
- Upload invoices to customer Web Portals and Online supplier sites
- AdHoc Credit functions
- Represent the Zeus Brand by ensuring each customer receives a friendly and engaging and efficient experience
- Communicate in a calm and confident manner when dealing with potential complaints or delinquent accounts
- Create trust and confidence when building rapport with customers and retain customer loyalty
- Build excellent relationships with Customers & our Zeus team
Key Requirements:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written and displays professionalism and confidence when communicating with all stakeholders
- The ability to work under pressure while meeting targets set and ensuring attention to detail is maintained
- Displays passion and enthusiasm for customer service
- A team player who can also work on own initiative
- Be a self-starter with a Can Do attitude
- Previous experience in a credit control or accounts receivable team
- Fluent in English both written and oral
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills
- PC literate – Proficient in MS Office, Outlook with good Microsoft Excel a distinct advantage
- Own transport essential
- Credit qualifications or studying (ICMT, IICM)
- Previous work in the warehousing or logistics environment
